This year, we want to make the contest even more global and impactful.
A real financial prize will be awarded in the final battle, which will take place live between the top 5 finalists, selected from hundreds of online applications by leading investors and industry thought leaders on one of the largest stages at NEXT Valetta on May 8.
All startups are welcome to participate, regardless of stage, industry, geography, or solution.
We will carefully review all applications, provide feedback, and ensure that the top 5 are truly powerful, making the battle between them fierce and impressive!

The top 5 finalists will be announced and invited to pitch their projects at the offline event. Prepare to compete for the grand prize!

Online Voting
Through an open 2-week online voting on the website, the entire industry will select one more winner from the announced finalists, who will receive an additional prize.
8 May
Pitch Day & Winner Announcement
The finalists will present their ideas live to the judges at the NEXT Summit Malta. The main winner will be selected and awarded the $50,000 equity investment. Additionally, the winner of the online voting will be announced.
*$50,000 will be awarded as an equity investment, subject to an agreement with Xanada Investments.

What is a $50,000 equity investment, and how does it work?
The $50,000 equity investment means that Xanada Investments will invest this amount into your startup in exchange for a small ownership stake in your company. Alongside the funding, you’ll gain access to valuable resources, expertise, and strategic connections from the Xanada team.

How does the selection process work?
Submit your application between February 10 and April 1, 2025. Our team will evaluate submissions based on their innovative potential, scalability, and alignment with our investment strategy. The top 5 finalists will present their pitches at an offline event, where the judges will select one winner. Additionally, an online voting winner will be announced before the offline event. Don’t miss your chance to participate!
How does the final stage of the contest work?
In the final stage, the top 5 finalists will pitch their ideas live at the NEXT Summit in Malta. Each finalist will have 5 minutes to present their business idea, followed by 5 minutes of questions and feedback from the judges.
How is the winner selected?
The panel of 5 judges will evaluate each pitch based on its innovation, scalability, and potential impact. After deliberation, they will select one winner to receive the $50,000 equity investment and a chance for future funding. An online voting winner will be announced prior to the offline event, chosen based on public votes from the online audience.
